Mr. Torstein Dehn was interviewed by Franz J. Fricke of Japan Times as part of the report being published in March 2010 and which is to highlight the Japan - Norwegian relations in light of the ‘105th Year anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries’ as well as the Maritime Industry of Norway.

The decision to change our previous Crewing Manager to Norwegian Crew Manager was made in the first quarter of 2009. This decision was made to ensure that quality officers return to the same vessels within the fleet, and that our crew recruitment, training and retention were at a best practice level.
A new office in Fujairah to accommodate our customer base in the region was established in 2008 manned by a team of highly experienced key personnel. The aim of the office is to create tighter control and management of our vessels, to build close and valuable relationships with suppliers and service providers and to be an active player in the regional maritime industry.
Morten has been holding the position as CFO and he has now accepted to take the responsibilities as MD of NMS.
Karl comes from Det Norske Veritas and has extensive experience managing newbuilding projects from his postings at various shipyards in Asia and Europe over the past 9 years.
